Massage therapy is a type of treatment in which a trained and certified medical professional manipulates the soft tissues of your body — muscle, connective tissue, tendons, ligaments and skin — using varying degrees of pressure and movement. Massage is generally considered part of complementary and integrative medicine.

  • Deep Tissue Massage

Deep tissue massage is most often used to treat musculoskeletal issues. It involves applying firm pressure and slow strokes to reach deeper layers of muscle, tendons, fascia and ligaments. It's used for chronic aches and pain and contracted areas such as a stiff neck and upper back, low back pain, leg muscle tightness, and sore shoulders and post injury to assist with recovery.

  • Pre/Post Natal Massage

Pregnancy massage is designed to meet the needs of moms to be and new moms. During pregnancy a woman’s body undergoes a variety of changes. Massage therapy can assist in maintaining a comfortable and pain-free pregnancy from conception to delivery and addresses musculoskeletal pain, tightness, swelling, headaches, and, promotes relaxation.

  • Sports Massage

  • Oncology Massage

Oncology massage is the modification of massage therapy techniques in order to safely work with complications of cancer and cancer treatment. This treatment is safe for anyone who is in active treatment or in recovery period. A thorough assessment is conducted and each treatment is adapted to your individual needs.

  • Pediatric Massage

Massage for kids from 2 to 16 years old where pressure is adapted to each individual need. Sessions are 30 min long and can be performed on top of clothes. Massage in children can help reduce stress and growing pains, improve sleep and muscle imbalances. To keep younger kids engaged, the therapist will use a story to perform the massage like “making pizza” on their back, “rolling out the dough”, “spreading pizza sauce” or “adding pepperoni” .

 
  • Craniosacral Therapy

Craniosacral Therapy (CST) is a gentle hands-on technique using light-touch to examine the membranes and fluid surrounding the nervous system. CST has been shown to improve headaches, digestion, sleep, anxiety and musculoskeletal function.
