CranioSacral Therapy

CranioSacral Therapy (CST) is a gentle hands-on technique that uses light touches to examine membranes and movement of the fluids in and around the central nervous system. Relieving tension in the central nervous system promotes feelings of well-being by eliminating pain and boosting health and immunity.

Benefits

Craniosacral Therapy (CST) is one of the gentle methods used by Osteopathic physician John E. Upledger that treats the membranes and fluids surrounding the brain and spinal cord. This therapy improves digestion, headaches, sleep, anxiety and musculoskeletal function. By supporting the body's natural healing processes, improvements have been seen in people dealing with chronic pain, PTSD, depression, digestive upsets, concussions and more.

What to expect in a session

Craniosacral Therapy (CST) can be combined with other modalities based on your symptoms or act as a standalone treatment. For your first visit, we recommend 90 minutes to allow for an assessment from the therapist and time for your treatment. This treatment can be fully clothed for those who aren't comfortable disrobing. Most individuals report less pain and a deep sense of calmness and relaxation following their session.
