MYOFASCIAL RELEASE -

VISCERAL MANIPULATION

Amanda has always been fascinated by the human body and the effects that disease and trauma can have on it. Early on in life she found her passion for serving others and has spent the last 13 years working in Health Care as a Licensed Practical Nurse, in a variety of different inpatient settings.

After having children of her own, Amanda was in awe of the positive effects and what could be accomplished with Manual Therapy. A new passion was ignited, and in 2020 she graduated from Alberta College of Massage Therapy with Honours with Distinction. Since graduating, Amanda has taken courses in Fascial Decompression, Orthopedic Massage and Dynamic Cupping. Amanda is currently studying Visceral Manipulation and Craniosacral Therapy and is eager to complete the in-lab portions of these courses to bring these much-needed techniques to her client’s treatments.

Amanda approaches Massage Therapy from a perspective of fascia and the interconnectedness throughout the whole body.  She uses a therapeutic and holistic approach in her assessment, and breath and movement with combined Swedish and Non-Swedish techniques during treatment.

Amanda genuinely enjoys working with her client’s and where they are at in their life’s journey, to help them to achieve immediate and long lasting results.
